A Darker Truth is a prequel series of four short webisodes put together to lead into the Vampire Diaries series premiere on September 10th, 2009. The story follows Jason, a young man searching for his sister’s killer in the small town of Mystic Falls. 
We've put together a comprehensive collection of images from the TV series, including official stills from the series, photo shoots released by the CW, screencaps, posters, advertising banners and magazine scans. 
Several members of The Vampire Diaries cast and producers - Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Julie Plec, Kevin Williamson, and Bob Levy - were at Comic Con International in San Diego, July 25th 2009. A long time ago – back in episode 4, “Family Ties” – the document that the Founders Council all signed upon the attendance of the first Founders party had Vee and I pretty excited.
